2023 Summer Outreach
Serving Children At-Risk
YWAM Cross Wind is in need of 24 YWAMers to help run a two month camp program for children of prisoners and foster kids called, "Camp David." This special program is designed to help children learn to hear God’s voice, experience the Father's heart, and grow in their walk with God.
Cost: You do not need to raise outreach funds for this- for those who serve all 8 weeks, there is a $200 a week stipend. It is possible to serve only part of the summer as well. Room and board is provided for all your weeks of service.
Alumni DTS: This is for those who have completed a DTS but maybe weren’t able to do an outreach and for those who are on staff and haven’t been able to do an outreach in a while. And for anyone else who feels God nudging them to be part. We also have a program for YWAM staff kids 14 yrs+ who want to be part of a YWAM mission of their own.
God has opened an amazing opportunity for us to reach these fatherless kids and we won’t be able to have the camp without the YWAM Team. Would you pray with us for God's will to be done in the lives of foster kids and children of prisoners?
