Ben & Grace Smith are pioneering a base in the heartland of North America. They founded a ministry called, "Camp David" to serve children of prisoners and foster kids in camp ministry, which they have been doing for 20+ years. In 2017 they began launching camps around the world.
After two of their own children graduated from YWAM DTS schools, which completely transformed their lives, Ben and Grace and their youngest children did their DTS at YWAM Chico in CA. Upon completion of their DTS, YWAM Chico endorsed them in pioneering a new base in central Kansas.
In 2022, God miracously provided the funds to purcahse a 61 acre property, free of debt, with a large conference center and over 175 beds. Ben and Grace invite you to join them at YWAM Cross Wind.
